State Youth Games – SYG 2025

Preparations are well underway for SYG 2025. We are so excited to once again be participating as a group of local churches together as Nillumbik United, as one body of Christ. State Youth Games is held on the June long weekend, and is an event for 13-30 year-olds from across Victoria. It’s an event of camping, casual and competitive sports, art, messages of hope in Jesus, and awesome musical worship. It’s an opportunity to explore faith in community in a no-pressure environment alongside trusted friends. Registrations to participate in the Nillumbik United team will open soon. As a church family, there are a number of ways you can support this event. 

Pray

• Pray for the young people who don’t yet know Jesus – that He will impact them in a powerful way
• Pray for the young people who already know Jesus – that their relationship with Him will grow deeper as they serve, and as they share the powerful impact of Jesus in their own lives
• Pray for the leadership team – that the team will be led by Jesus at every step in the preparations and decisions made, and throughout the weekend.

 

Participate

• Join us at our SYG Launch and Trivia fundraising evening being held on Saturday 22 March @ 7pm, at DVBC (see flyer below). This will raise critical funds to enable young people to attend SYG, who otherwise couldn’t afford to go.
• Ask us about ways you can play a part in the team. There are lots of ways you can assist during the weekend, in the lead-up to the weekend, or even afterwards.
